چکیده

The susceptibility of the carbonyl group towards nucleophilic attack affords construction various organic compounds. Thus, investigations activation applying greener methodologies are highly important. In present work, among investigated N-halo compounds, N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide (NFSi) has been found as an efficient and selective catalyst in reaction direct esterification aryl alkyl carboxylic acids supported by microwave (MW) irradiation. comprehensive different benzoic mono-, di- tri-carboxy derivatives was performed, whereby significant time reductions were achieved. presented method used NFSi easily manipulatable, non-metal, water- air-tolerant catalyst, allowing simple synthetic isolation procedures energy saving, compared to conventional methodologies. Importantly, contrast under thermal conditions, where compounds behave pre-catalysts, MW-supported protocol, a distinct mechanism proposed that assumes sustainable catalyst. Moreover, scale-up industrially important derivative performed.

Microwave Assisted Synthesis of N-Benzylenaminones Catalyzed by Chloroacetic acid

Benzylaminoalkenones and benzylaminoalkenoates 3 were synthesized from reaction of benzylamine with corresponding 1,3-diketones and 1,3-ketoesters in the presence of catalytic amount of chloroacetic acid under microwave radiation. This method offers several advantages including high yield of products, recyclable of the catalyst and easy experimental work-up procedure.

Investigation on the mechanism of water-assisted palladium-catalyzed benzylic C-H amination by N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide.

A combination of computational and experimental methods was carried out to elucidate the mechanism of palladium-catalyzed water-assisted benzylic C-H amination with N-fluorobenzenesulfonimide (NFSI), which involved the oxidative addition of Pd(II) to Pd(IV)-species as a rate-limiting step, followed by water-assisted concerted metalation-deprotonation (CMD) of the Pd(IV) complex and water-assist...

Sulfonated porous carbon catalyzed esterification of free fatty acids

The esterification of free fatty acids (FFA) with methanol is studied using Sulfonated Porous Carbon (SPC) as catalyst. In compare to the amorphous sugar catalyst and protonated Nafion, the proposed catalyst shows stability and high efficient performance in biodiesel production. The highest initial rate of oleic acid conversion is obtained at catalyst loading of 1 mmol H+ and mole ra...

Microwave-assisted Cu-catalyzed protodecarboxylation of aromatic carboxylic acids.

An effective protocol has been developed that allows the smooth protodecarboxylation of diversely functionalized aromatic carboxylic acids within 5-15 min. In the presence of at most 5 mol % of an inexpensive catalyst generated in situ from copper(I) oxide and 1,10-phenanthroline, even nonactivated benzoates were converted in high yields and with great preparative ease.
